Town of Sullivanís Island-
You can bookmark the town of Sullivanís Island web site simply by clicking on the townís seal. Here you can read the Sullivanís Island Historical Preservation Ordinance as well as learn the definitions of what constitutes an alteration to historic Sullivanís Island homes.  The Sullivanís Island Historical Preservation Ordinance is designed to protect approximately two hundred and ninety historic Sullivanís Island homes.  Any exterior improvements or modifications to homes located on Sullivanís Island will need prior approval from the town of Sullivanís Island and the Design Review Board prior to construction.  On the Sullivanís Island website, you can also check the historic resources map to see if your Sullivanís Island home is showing up as a historic home.  You will find the majority of Sullivan's historic homes will be located inside the Sullivanís Island Historic District, Atlanticville Historic District, and Moultrieville Historic District boundary lines.
