Wild Dunes Resort offers golfers, tennis players
and their families great amenities in which to choose from. You will find residents
behind the gate to be a mixture of year round residents, part-time
residents, and investors. Regardless of type of ownership, they all enjoy Wild Dunes
popularity as a great vacation spot. This is evident by the year after
year beach rental
histories and the continued
appreciation of home values. Regardless of which type of property ownership you choose, you will enjoy
everything about Wild Dunes.
You cannot say enough about Wild Dunes’ top notch tennis facility. Tennis
magazine each year ranks Wild Dunes Resort in the top 10 tennis resorts in the
United States. Here you will find seventeen clay courts, some of which have
lights for your evening enjoyment. On the tennis courts, you will find a
mixture of players, from local members, to out of town visitors. All
having fun enjoying Wild Dunes’ superior tennis facilities. There is no problem
finding players for doubles or singles matches for your competitive
enjoyment. Wild Dunes tennis instruction is fantastic because it offers
clinics and events for all different skill levels and ages.
Wild Dunes Resort is home to two of Tom Fazio's designed
golf courses, the Wild Dunes
Harbor course, and the famous Wild Dunes Links course. The Wild Dunes Links course
is always rated in golf magazines top 100 courses in the United States.
Surprisingly, a lot of the members enjoy playing the Harbor course better than the
famous Links course. This is probably because their scores are always
a little lower on the Harbor course.
Regardless, you will always enjoy playing these great Fazio golf course
designs. I don’t know too many
golfers who wouldn’t be proud to call two Tom Fazio designed golf courses
home.
Another
great attraction to residents and vacationers a like is Wild Dunes' close proximity to Historic Charleston. You
can travel these fifteen miles into downtown Historic Charleston in less than one-half
hour.
Wild Dunes’ wide expansive beaches are some of the areas best
for bike riding, jogging, or walking. Wild
Dunes offers spectacular luxury condominiums at Ocean Club, Mariners Walk,
Beach Club Villas and Seagrove. You will also
find Wild Dunes offers spectacular beach front home and townhomes at the Grand
Pavilion.
Wild Dunes also offers one gated community, Ocean
